About This Site

I want you to know…

Welcome to the website for the Paw fan family. Whether you’re a longtime fan of Paw or you’ve just discovered the special sound of their heartland grunge rock, this is your temple.

This is not an official site for the band. It’s built by a fan, for fellow fans. My goal is to help fans enjoy Paw music and history, as well as to preserve and elevate the band’s legacy. So many lifer Paw fans know two things to be true: 1) Paw was a one-of-a-kind band, with powerful music that we cherish decades later. 2) Paw tasted success, but never lived up to its full potential or received as much recognition as the music deserved.

Have a memory or artifact to share with the site? Have you found a Paw treasure online? Reach out via the form below.

Thank you, fellow Paw fans!

Can You Lend a Hand?

Your support powers this site…

I’m not looking to make money via this Paw fan family endeavor, but the site does require resources. I want to avoid the use of advertising on the site to make it as pure Paw experience as possible. So I’m putting into it in my own funds, supplemented by generous donations from the community. Contributions enable me to ...

  • host and maintain the website

  • offset the costs of software and tools

  • promote the site via search marketing

  • acquire Paw items for preservation

Any amount is much appreciated. The button below links to PayPal and Venmo. Thank you!!!

FAQs

Is this the official website for the band?

No. It’s built by a fan, for fans.

Is Paw active?

No. Half of the founding members (Grant Fitch and Mark Hennessy) have separate musical endeavors, but Paw as we knew it in the 1990s and early 2000s is not recording music or playing concerts.

Is Paw music available via streaming?

Yes! Look for links in the footer section below. These services have Dragline and Death to Traitors, but not Keep the Last Bullet for Yourself or Home Is a Strange Place. The latter two are available via this site.

Are new copies of any Paw albums available?

Cherry Red Records out of the UK has a fantastic reissue of Dragline on CD. If you’d like to see Cherry Red reissue Death To Traitors, send them a note at ideas@cherryred.co.uk.

Music On Vinyl reissued Dragline on vinyl. If you’d like to see Music On Vinyl reissue Death To Traitors, drop them a line at Info@MusicOnVinyl.com.

Used (and sometimes new) copies of Paw albums are semi-regularly available via eBay.

Are there plans to release new material or reissue more of the catalog?

Not at this time, but one can hope.
